Club Setup

8 min readOnboarding

This guide covers everything you need to configure your organization's profile, appearance, and public-facing pages. All of these settings live under the Config and Content groups in your admin sidebar.

Public Pages

Every organization gets a public page at /your-club. The settings described below control what visitors see when they visit your club's page, including the hero section, navigation, page sections, and branding.

Organization Settings

Navigate to Config > Settings in the admin sidebar. The settings page is organized into several cards. After making changes, click the Save changes button at the top right.

1

General Information

Fill in the basics for your organization:

  • Organization Name — The display name shown on your public page and in search results.
  • Contact Email — A public email for member inquiries.
  • Description — A short paragraph about your club, displayed on your public page and used as a fallback for SEO.
  • Website — An optional external website URL.
2

Location

Enter your club's physical address so members can find you:

  • Address — Street address of your facility.
  • City and State — Used for location display and search.
3

Branding

Customize how your organization looks on its public page:

  • Logo URL — Paste a URL to your club logo. A preview appears below the input field.
  • Banner Image URL — A large cover image displayed in the hero section. After entering a URL, use the Banner Focus dropdown to control the focal point: Top, Center, Bottom, or Custom (drag directly on the preview to fine-tune).
  • Hero Layout — Controls the size of your hero section. Options: Full (large hero with cover image), Compact (smaller with name and logo side by side), Minimal (simple header bar), or None (no hero, content starts immediately).
  • Content Width — Sets the maximum width of your page content: Narrow, Standard (default), or Wide.
  • Sidebar Position — Choose where navigation appears on your public page: Left sidebar, Right sidebar, or Top Bar (horizontal navigation with no sidebar).
4

Social Links

Add up to six social media profiles. Click Add Social Link and select a platform (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter / X, YouTube, LinkedIn, or TikTok), then paste the URL. Links appear on your public page and optionally in the footer.

5

Operating Hours

Set your facility's weekly hours. For each day (Monday through Sunday), toggle the day on or off and select opening and closing times from 30-minute increments. Choose your timezone from the dropdown (e.g. Eastern Time, Pacific Time). Operating hours can optionally be displayed in the footer.

6

Announcement Banner

Display a dismissible banner at the top of your public page. Toggle the banner active, enter your announcement text, and optionally add a link URL and link text. Choose a style: Info (blue), Warning (amber), or Success (green).

7

Footer

Customize what appears in the footer of your public page. You can add a custom about text, create footer links (each with a label and URL), and toggle whether to show social links, operating hours, or a copyright notice in the footer.

8

SEO

Optimize how your club appears in search engines and social media shares. Set a custom SEO Title (50-60 characters recommended), SEO Description (150-160 characters recommended), and Open Graph Image URL. A live preview shows how your page will appear in Google search results and on social media cards.

Theme Customization

The Theme section within Config > Settings lets you fine-tune your organization's visual identity. You can select a pre-built theme template or customize individual properties:

  • Theme Template — Pick a preset to apply a coordinated set of colors and styles at once.
  • Colors — Primary, Secondary, Accent, Background, and Text colors via color pickers.
  • Font Family — Choose from Inter, Roboto, Poppins, Montserrat, Open Sans, Raleway, Source Sans Pro, or Nunito.
  • Button Style — Rounded, Square, or Pill.
  • Card Style — Glass (translucent with blur), Solid (opaque background), or Bordered (transparent with border).

Theme Preview

Changes to theme properties are reflected in a live preview so you can see how your public page will look before saving.

Appearance Templates

Navigate to Config > Appearance for a higher-level way to change your page layout. Instead of adjusting individual settings, you pick an entire layout template and the system applies the corresponding hero layout, navigation type, and content width at once.

  • Each template card shows its Hero style (Fullscreen, Banner, Compact, Split), Navigation type (Left Sidebar, Right Sidebar, Horizontal, Floating), and Content width.
  • Click a template card to apply it. The currently active template is highlighted with a blue border and a “Current” badge.
  • Below the templates, the Section Display Options card contains an Auto-Alternate Section Backgrounds toggle. When enabled, every other section on your public page receives a subtle background for visual rhythm.
Individual section appearance settings override the global auto-alternate setting. Fine-tune per-section styling in the Sections admin page.

Homepage Sections

Navigate to Content > Page Sections to manage the content blocks on your organization's public homepage. You can add, reorder, edit, and delete sections.

  • Click Add Section to create a new block. Available section types include About, Features, Call-to-Action, and Appearance sections, each with their own configuration fields.
  • Drag to reorder — Sections can be rearranged by dragging them up or down in the list.
  • Use the visibility toggle on each section card to show or hide it without deleting it.
  • Click Edit on any section to update its title, content, and settings. Click Delete to permanently remove a section.

Navigation Management

Navigate to Content > Navigation to control what links appear in your organization's navigation menu.

System Pages

Built-in pages (Tournaments, Leagues, Teams, Photos) are listed under the System Pages card. For each one you can:

  • Toggle the Visible switch to show or hide the page from the navigation menu.
  • Enter a Custom Label to rename the link (for example, rename “Tournaments” to “Competitions”).

Custom Pages

Any pages you create under Content > Pages automatically appear in the Custom Pages card. Each custom page shows a badge indicating whether it is Public or Members Only. Toggle visibility or click the edit icon to update the page content.

To create a new custom page, click the Add Page button, which takes you to the Pages editor where you can write content using a rich text editor and set the page to Public or Members Only access.

Remember to Save

After toggling visibility or editing labels on the Navigation page, click the Save Changes button at the bottom. Changes are not applied until you save.
