Payment Configuration

8 min readFinance

Every organization on the platform runs on a subscription plan that determines your available features and resource limits. This guide explains the billing tiers, how to upgrade or downgrade, and what happens when your trial ends.

Your Free Trial

When you create a new organization, a 14-day free trial starts automatically. During the trial you get full access to all Professional tier features with no resource limits. No credit card is required to start the trial.

Trial Features

The trial includes everything in the Professional plan: Basic Scheduling, Private Lessons, Custom Branding, Advanced Scheduling, and Priority Support. Members, courts, and teams are all unlimited during the trial period.

When Your Trial Expires

After 14 days your subscription status changes to Expired and your organization loses access to paid features. A banner on the Billing page warns you as the trial end date approaches. To avoid any interruption, upgrade to a paid plan before the trial ends.

Platform Subscription Tiers

The platform offers four tiers. Trial is automatic for new organizations. Starter and Professional are available for self-service checkout. Enterprise requires contacting sales.

Viewing Your Current Subscription

1

Open the Billing page

In the admin sidebar, navigate to Config > Billing & Subscription. The page header reads “Billing & Subscription” with a subtitle of “Manage your platform subscription and billing.”

2

Review your current plan

The Current Plan card shows your plan tier, a status badge (Active, Trialing, Past Due, Canceled, or Expired), your billing interval and price, and the next billing date. If you are on a trial, a trial banner at the top displays how many days remain.

3

Check features and limits

Below the plan details you will find the Plan Features section listing every feature included in your tier, and the Usage Limits section showing your caps for Members, Courts, and Teams. Unlimited resources display as “Unlimited.”

Upgrading Your Plan

1

Choose a plan

If you are on the trial or the Starter tier, an Upgrade Plan button appears at the bottom of the Current Plan card. Clicking it starts the checkout flow for the Professional plan at the monthly rate. Alternatively, scroll down to the Available Plans section to compare plans side-by-side. Each plan card shows pricing for both monthly and annual billing, along with its key features.

2

Select monthly or annual billing

Each plan shows both options. Annual billing saves approximately 17% compared to monthly billing. Click Select Starter or Select Professional on the plan card you want.

3

Complete Stripe checkout

You are redirected to a secure Stripe checkout page to enter your payment details. Once payment succeeds, you return to your admin dashboard and your subscription is immediately active.

Annual Savings

Starter annual pricing is $290/year (vs. $348 monthly). Professional annual pricing is $790/year (vs. $948 monthly). Choosing annual billing saves roughly two months of cost per year.

Canceling or Resuming Your Subscription

1

Cancel your subscription

On the Billing page, click the red Cancel Subscription button (visible only for active paid subscriptions). A confirmation dialog shows the date your access will end. Click Cancel Subscription to confirm, or Keep Subscription to go back. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.

2

Resume a canceled subscription

If your subscription is canceled but the billing period has not ended, a Resume Subscription button appears. Click it to reactivate your plan without needing to go through checkout again.

After Cancellation

Once the current billing period ends on a canceled subscription, your organization loses access to paid features and resource limits revert. Your data is preserved, so you can resubscribe at any time to regain access.
